Missions

Before Christ returned to heaven after his resurrection, he gave his disciples a mandate. What was that mandate? It was to go and be a witness for Him and to share the good news of Christ with the world. Missions is the heartbeat of God and He wants to use all of us to be part of His mission.

The Andersons

Blake and Angie were sent from the Kansas City Baptist Temple in 1999 as missionaries to Mexico City. They have three sons: Israel-Baruc, Heber-Isai, and Juda-Eliu.

The Mehls

The Mehls were sent out by the Kansas City Baptist Temple in 1988 to minister in El Salvador. After a couple of years on the field, God allowed them to start a church, Iglesia Bautista Vida Nueva. Jim serves with his wife Kathy, and their two children, Hillary and Stephen.

Gene and Sue Purtle were sent out of the Kansas City Baptist Temple to begin working full time as prison missionaries.
