Mission Sunday

Frank and Marie Drown

Join us on January 27 for Mission Sunday. It all starts at 9am when Cornerstone’s own Nathan Switzner shares with us about his recent trip to the Arabian peninsula.

At 10am Frank and Marie Drown, retired missionaries to the Jivaro Indians of eastern Ecuador, will talk about their experiences while on the mission field.

During their service in Ecuador, the Drowns aided in the aftermath of the missionary deaths of Operation Auca. All told, Frank and Marie served the Jivaros for 37 years. Come and hear their story.

I loved the passion of the Drowns. Even after so many years, Frank still chokes up with emotion when he talks about how God moved in their lives. That is so powerful.

It is amazing to listen to modern day Saints who know how to live in the power of God. They are a tribute to God’s grace and power. They inspire us to want to allow God to accomplish more in our lives. What a blessing to hear all that God has done through their lives and how they continue to do God’s will no matter what stage they are at in their lives.
